Alternatives guides

“Alternatives” pages on this site answer one question: if I am leaving tool X, which tool actually fixes the reason I am leaving? Each guide ranks options against the specific complaints that drive people away — pricing model, free access, model lock-in, control depth — with an [n] citation and a checked date next to every price, and “no public price” where a vendor publishes none. We have not run hands-on tests, so you will find no star ratings here, only stated-criteria editorial picks.

We publish an alternatives guide only when the underlying prices and limits are sourced on the vendor's own pages. Everything listed here is a page that exists: we do not advertise planned guides, and no empty doorway pages are ever created.
